Measuring for a Cane

Follow these simple steps to find the correct height for your Campbell Cane:

• Be sure to wear your comfortable walking shoes.

• Stand in a relaxed manner; raise your forearm to a comfortable angle (approximately 45 degrees below horizontal) in front of you.

• Have someone measure the distance from the floor to the lowest point on your wrist (rounded to the nearest half-inch). It will give the center of the handle.

• Alternate method is to measure your overall height and multiply it by .57 (57%) ex. Ht. 5’-10” or 70 inches X .57= approx. 40” to handle center.

The grip of the Campbell Handle™ or other handle style should fit comfortably in your hand. If necessary, minor adjustments can be made by removing the tip and shortening the length of the cane.
